Hi, I'm Maura — a 35mm film photographer based in Old Town Alexandria, VA. I'm drawn to historic architecture, blooms on centuries-old streets, and the kind of light that only shows up when you're willing to wake up early for it.
I shoot everything on film because I love what it does to a moment — the warmth, the grain, the imperfection. Whether I'm wandering Amsterdam's markets, hiking the Alps, or shooting around my own neighborhood, I'm always chasing that quiet, honest frame.
